What we collect
When you use our enquiry/order form, we collect:
- Your name and, if applicable, your business name
- Your email address and/or phone number
- Delivery address, if you ask for delivery
- Order or event details you give us: order type, preferred date, size, flavours, quantities, and any message you write
We do not knowingly collect payment card details through this website — payment is arranged directly with you (Mastercard, Visa, bank transfer, or cash) once your order is confirmed.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and confirm pricing and availability
- Prepare, deliver, or arrange collection of your order
- Keep basic records of orders for accounting purposes
- Deal with any cancellations, amendments, or complaints
Our legal basis
We process this information because it's necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and to perform that contract once agreed (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Where we keep records for accounting or legal reasons, we rely on our legal obligation to do so (Article 6(1)(c)).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Our website hosting provider (Netlify), which processes form submissions on our behalf
- Delivery arrangements, where relevant to fulfilling your order
- HMRC or our accountant, where required for tax and accounting records
Cookies and third-party services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve your browser connecting to Google's servers. Every page also displays a Trustpilot review widget, which loads content directly from Trustpilot's servers; this involves your browser connecting to Trustpilot and may register that the widget was viewed, but does not set cookies on our own domain. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. If this changes, we'll update this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order and deal with any follow-up (such as a replacement or refund query), and for up to 6 years afterwards where we need to keep records for accounting or tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it
- Object to or restrict certain processing
