It started with a craving.
It started with a craving for grapenut ice cream — a Jamaican classic. Kayon searched everywhere for it, and finally found someone who made it. She bought a tub, tasted it — and knew, right then, that she could make it better.
So Kayon did. That single moment of "I can do this better" was all it took to set everything in motion.
She bought a small kitchen-top ice cream machine and started making her own. Family and friends couldn't get enough — which pushed Kayon to keep refining it, testing how to make the texture hold up even after being refrozen, chasing that perfect scoop every time.
Once the demand was undeniable, Kayon branched out — developing her own recipes, flavour by flavour, each one built the same way the first was: by hand, with care, until it was right.
